SDM Building Group are a well established company, we undertake reinstatement works within the insurance sector, the majority of works are undertaken within the central belt of Scotland.

Glasgow / Edinburgh based locations.

We are looking to recruit professional decorators' who can undertake works within occupied domestic and commercial properties, the successful candidate will require to undertake works to a high standard, having excellent customer communication skills. We are looking for a hard-working, dependable decorators' to join our team.

Company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

  • Requirement of having professional level skills in wallpapering.
  • Requirement of having professional level skills in painting.
  • Taping and filling.
  • Coving skills desired.
  • Maintaining a high level of area protections.

Responsibilities: may include other duties not listed above that are necessary by the company to ensure efficient production of services to our clients and customers. This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities.

You will have an excellent eye for detail and will have the ability to check your own work as you go and prior to the final sign-off with the customer. Being able to undertake works with time in mind as well as for general task timelines. You will also be required to work well as part of a team, and most importantly have pride in your work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary Range: £15.50 - £17.00 per hour.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Qualified decorator having excellent all-round wallpapering and painting skills

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence Required
  • CSCS (preferred)

Qualifications:
- Experience within the insurance resistament sector.
- Trade papers.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English language
- Valid driving licence.
- Ability to drive to different job sites throughtout the central belt.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Expected hours: 39 per week
