Full job description

The Property team at Advinia Health Care are looking for a Regional Decorator to deliver a full range of painting and decorating services across 13 Care Home sites in Scotland.

Duties/Key Responsibilities

  • All aspects of Painting & Decorating whilst working in a Care Home environment.

  • Hanging of wallpaper, murals and Muraspec wall coverings.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks

  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes & rollers

  • Ensure proper coverage and smooth application of paint

  • Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary

  • Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment

  • Reporting to the Property team of any needed projects and programmes in all areas.

Skills Required

  • Good communication skills.

  • Resilience under pressure.

  • Ability to work to flexible schedules.

  • Ability to work on their own.

  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.

  • Full Driving Licence (essential).

  • Own transport (essential)

Work Location: On site across Scotland.
