Sales Consultant – Premium Furniture & Home Interiors (Glasgow Showroom)

THE OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity to join a fast-growing, design-led furniture retailer as part of a high-performing showroom team in Glasgow. This is a target-driven retail sales role offering strong earning potential, clear expectations, and long-term progression as the business continues to expand.

The showroom environment is modern and professional, focused on helping customers make confident, considered purchasing decisions rather than high-pressure selling.

THE ROLE
As a Sales Consultant, you will manage the full customer journey from initial enquiry through to close. You’ll work with customers on layout, product selection, and suitability for their space, selling higher-value furniture in a consultative, face-to-face retail environment.

This role suits retail sales professionals who enjoy building rapport, handling longer sales conversations, and working to clear performance targets.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in retail sales, ideally within furniture, home interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, luxury retail, or other consultative sales environments.
A strong sales mindset with confidence working to targets and closing deals.
Ability to engage customers, build trust, and guide purchasing decisions.
An interest in interiors, layout, or spatial planning is helpful but not essential.
Professional, personable communication style with a commercial focus.

WHAT’S ON OFFER
Basic salary in the region of £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience.
Realistic OTE £45,000–£50,000+, with top performers earning beyond this.
Structured commission and bonus scheme linked to individual performance.
37.5-hour working week with a fair and predictable weekend rota.
Clear progression opportunities within a growing UK retail business.

NEXT STEPS
This role is ideal for ambitious retail sales professionals looking to move into a premium product environment where strong performance is recognised and rewarded.
