We're looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. This is primarily a studio-based role in Edinburgh, with some flexibility available by agreement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who enjoys working across both client-facing projects and consumer brands, helping to bring creative concepts to life through packaging, print and product design.

About the Role:

Working closely with the Creative Director and production team, you will be responsible for creating branded artwork for corporate clients as well as developing packaging, product artwork and marketing materials for the Quirky Chocolate brand.

The role is heavily focused on Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, and would suit someone with strong technical design skills, excellent attention to detail and experience preparing artwork for print and production.

You will play a key role in helping shape the visual identity of both client projects and Quirky Chocolate's growing consumer brand.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating bespoke branded chocolate artwork for corporate clients.
• Preparing print-ready artwork and ensuring brand guidelines are followed.
• Designing artwork for Quirky Chocolate's consumer product range.
• Creating marketing materials including brochures, flyers, point-of-sale.
• Creating product images in Photoshop for website and media use
• Working with clients to amend and approve artwork.
• Preparing files for production and liaising with suppliers where required.
• Supporting new product launches and seasonal collections.
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Maintaining organised artwork files and brand asset libraries.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• 1-3 years' commercial graphic design experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience preparing artwork for print production.
• Meticulous attention to detail when preparing artwork for print and production.
• Strong typography and layout skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Must be Edinburgh-based or within a reasonable commuting distance of Edinburgh and able to work regularly from our office.

Desirable

• Experience working with food, retail, gifting or consumer brands.
• Knowledge of packaging and print specifications.
• Photography or content creation experience.
• Experience with additional Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Pay: £29,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
