Full job description

We are looking for someone to join the small team at Clearway Kennels! Our ideal candidate is someone who will care for the dogs as their own, with a great attention to detail, a good work ethic and of course reliable. Training will be given for all aspects of the job.

Our kennels is situated in the middle of nowhere, so driving is a must.

An animal management level 2 or 3 qualification would be advantageous, but not essential.

This job will include:

Working in all weathers

Working with all dog breeds and sizes

Cleaning out kennels

Letting out dogs

Feeding dogs

Checking dogs in and out

Assisting customers both in person and on the phone

Poo picking

Administering medication

Providing enrichment to the dogs, both inside and outside

General office administration

General upkeep of the premises, light maintenance in quiet periods and cleaning

We operate with split shifts, working between 7:30am-12pm and 4pm-7pm

35-37.5 hours a week

Pay: £13.25 per hour
