At FM Conway, our HGV Drivers do far more than drive. They play a vital role in protecting communities, preventing flooding and keeping the UK's essential infrastructure running safely and efficiently.

We're looking for a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing Water and Drainage Management team. Working as part of a supportive two-person crew, you'll use specialist vehicles and equipment to carry out a variety of drainage operations, from planned maintenance and high-pressure water jetting to emergency response work.

Working hours for this depot is 06:00am to 16:00pm

As one of our HGV Class 2 Drivers, you will:

  • Carry out a wide range of drainage services, including high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) to inspect, clean and maintain drainage networks.
  • Respond to emergency callouts, resolving blockages, overflows and other drainage issues quickly and safely.
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance, helping to keep water flowing and minimise disruption to local communities.
  • Accurately record completed work and identify any additional repairs or follow-up actions.
  • Use our app-based reporting system to update jobs, upload photos and communicate effectively with the wider team.

Previous drainage experience is beneficial, but it isn't essential. If you're willing to learn and bring the right mindset, we'll provide the training and support you need to build a successful career with FM Conway.

Why join FM Conway?

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll receive:

  • Company pension.
  • Life assurance.
  • Ongoing training and career development.
  • Internal progression opportunities.
  • Shopping discounts through our Rewarding Great People platform.
