As well as the team that support them, some family and friends are also involved in their support. Indoor activities include, going to church, music sessions, cooking, life skills, listening to music, drawing and colouring, model making, arts and crafts, reading books, surfing the internet, games and puzzles, writing letters to family and friends, television, pampering sessions - manicures. As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will help to ensure the people we support live a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life. You will have excellent communication skills and be a naturally caring and patient personality. Typical responsibilities may include:

- Excellent communication skills and Relationship building – supporting the people we support to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
- Community & Social Inclusion - supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
