Job Overview

Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistants to join primary, secondary and SEN settings across the local area.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking for your next opportunity within education, we'd love to speak with you.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you may be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning in the classroom
  • Providing one-to-one or small-group support
  • Assisting the class teacher with lessons and activities
  • Supporting pupils with additional or special educational needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and engagement
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Experience within a UK school or education setting is desirable
  • A patient, positive and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupil development
