Christ the Saviour Primary School, right next to Ealing Broadway Station, has opened 2 Teaching Assistant positions to support in Reception!!!

Role expectations:

The role focuses on collaborating with the Class teacher to support the class along with meeting the needs of children with EHCPs. You'll play a part in crafting and deliver an engaging learning experience for the children! Focusing on the children's developmental needs and wellbeing!

A day in the role consists of:

  • Leading groups to foster social skills and friendships
  • Supporting 1:1 children who need the extra help
  • Providing intimate care for children using nappies
  • Supporting non-verbal children with understanding the expectations of the class
  • Guided reading and phonics interventions, ensuring every child can access the world around them
  • Mentoring children on how best to help others and work together
  • Managing the classroom needs such as printing, laminating, etc.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Degree or an Education focused Level 2/3
  • Skilled in the Primary English and Maths Curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Understanding, Caring and Nurturing
