The Role

We are looking for a fully qualified Electrician to join our Planned Work team, delivering electrical installation projects across residential and commercial properties. From new circuits and rewires to upgrades and alterations, you’ll carry out planned works to a high standard, on time and in line with specifications. This role suits someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, can plan and organise their work effectively, works well as part of a wider site team and represents the company professionally on site.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver planned electrical installation works, including new installations, full and partial rewires, alterations, extensions and upgrades, working to drawings and specifications

· Carry out first and second fix electrical works, including wiring, accessories, lighting, containment and consumer units

· Carry out inspection and testing of completed works and produce accurate certification (EICs, MWCs) in line with BS 7671

· Identify and resolve any faults found during testing and commissioning

· Accurately complete job cards, worksheets and reports for every installation, recording work carried out, materials used and time on site

· Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, tenants, site managers and other trades, keeping them updated on progress

· Identify and report additional remedial or follow-on works required, escalating to the office or client as appropriate

· Maintain van stock and manage your workload efficiently by liaising with our Customer Service and Management teams

· Follow site-specific RAMS and comply with CDM 2015 and site safety procedures

· Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area at all times

Requirements

· Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

· 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), current

· Inspection and testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2391) desirable

· Proven experience in electrical installation work across residential and/or commercial properties

· Valid CSCS/ECS card (Gold Card preferred)

· Strong testing and fault-finding skills

· Able to read and work from drawings, schematics and specifications

· Well organised, able to work to programme deadlines and maintain high standards

· Reliable, punctual and able to manage your own workload independently

· Full UK driving licence

· Eligibility to work in the UK
