Career Opportunity: Sales & Customer Service Specialist at NUMA

At NUMA, we are experiencing an incredible period of growth. Following our recent move to our state-of-the-art facility at Heywood Distribution Park, we are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales & Customer Service Specialist to join our team and deliver the "Quiet Luxury" experience our clients love.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with solid experience in telephone sales and customer service, particularly those who have worked in e-commerce. Please note: we are unable to consider applications from candidates without this specific background. Knowledge of the home and garden sector is highly desirable and will be prioritised

This is a hybrid service role, perfectly balancing proactive sales with exceptional customer support. It is an opportunity to be a brand ambassador at the heart of our operations during our most exciting chapter yet.

The Location & Environment

  • The Hub: Based at our new Manchester distribution centre: Heywood Distribution Park.
  • The Channels: You will manage high-level customer interactions across telephone and email, while utilising our CRM system to track the end-to-end customer journey. This requires a confident, professional vocal presence and excellent written communication skills.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this role features a rewarding bonus scheme designed for high achievers. For those who consistently meet and exceed their targets, this structure offers an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of over £40,000.

  • The Pattern: Includes some weekend shifts to ensure we are there for our clients during their peak shopping times.
  • Hybrid Working: We offer a modern approach to work-life balance, with the option to work from home one weekday per week (following the successful completion of your initial training).

The Role

This position requires a versatile professional capable of switching between sales-driven targets and high-quality service delivery.

  • Drive the NUMA Experience: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from professional telephone and email enquiries to processing orders, quotations, and invoicing.
  • Balance Support & Sales: Provide expert product advice and after-sales care while identifying opportunities to grow accounts and close sales.
  • Master the Details: Maintain high-accuracy records within our CRM and coordinate directly with our on-site logistics team for seamless dispatches.
  • Support Growth: Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and collaborate with marketing on exciting new campaigns and product launches.

About You

  • You thrive in a hybrid environment where you can balance sales targets with a customer-focused attitude.
  • You have a confident telephone manner and the ability to write professional, engaging emails in British English.
  • You are highly organized, tech-savvy (MS Office), and comfortable navigating CRM software to manage client relationships.
  • You are proactive, professional, and motivated by a high-earning commission structure.
