About The Role

Colleague Experience Manager

Location: Wakefield (Hybrid) Contract: Full Time (permanent)

Are you an expert at making people feel celebrated, appreciated and connected, not just on special occasions, but every day? The Colleague Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping how colleagues experience life at cardfactory, creating a workplace where people feel connected, valued and inspired to do their best work.

The role maps the end-to-end colleague journey, uses internal and external insight to identify improvements, and leads enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen engagement, listening, recognition and culture. Success means colleagues feel heard, valued and connected to the business making this role a key appointment.

We operate a hybrid working policy at cardfactory, with 2 days onsite at our Support Centre in Wakefield and 3 days from home. Free parking and easy access from Junction 41.

What you'll be doing

As our Colleague Experience Manager, you'll be responsible for shaping and enhancing the colleague experience across cardfactory, ensuring colleagues feel valued, connected and supported throughout their journey with us. Using colleague feedback, engagement data and industry insights, you'll identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement and deliver meaningful change. You'll lead colleague listening initiatives, champion colleague voice and engagement, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to develop and implement impactful people-focused projects. You'll also partner with key teams to promote our reward, recognition, benefits and wellbeing offering, helping to create a positive and inclusive culture where colleagues can thrive.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is passionate about people and culture, with the ability to influence positive change through data, insight and collaboration.

  • Experience in employee engagement, colleague experience, HR, culture or organisational development.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful people-focused initiatives.
  • Experience gathering, analysing and interpreting colleague feedback and engagement data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
  • A passion for creating a positive, inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate insight into practical actions and recommendations.
