We have a vacancy for an experienced Amusement Arcade Manager (FEC & AGC) to run a Family Entertainment Centre and Adult Gaming Centre in a key location in Margate. Experience within the amusement arcade sector and a technical aptitude is key to this role.

About you

You will need to have worked within the amusement arcade industry in the role of Manager/Assistant Manager/ for a minimum of three years. We will also consider a candidate with a technical background in amusement equipment, a recognised qualification and experience working front of house.

We may consider a candidate with 5+ years of management experience in a similar industry - but you must have all skills listed below

Key skills required for this role:

  • Take full responsibility for the day to day running of a fast paced customer facing business - the buck stops with you!!
  • Volume cash handling - cash not electronic transactions
  • Experience recruiting, training and managing high performing teams
  • Experience purchasing and managing stock using an EPOS system/PC
  • Accounting for takings, including use of computerised systems
  • PC literate on Excel, Word, email and database use.
  • Knowledge of KPI's and ability to control budgets.
  • Forward thinking, flexible and customer focussed
  • Ability to lead from front of house as well as from the office.
  • Dealing with customer disputes and complaints
  • Able to work flexible shifts and where necessary evening and weekends
  • Ensure the business is compliant with Health and Safety and Gambling Compliance legislation.

We offer a starting salary of £32000 up to £38,000, the role comes with a company pension, performance related bonus and a relocation package worth up to £5000 for the right candidate
