Who We Are

We are renowned as an iconic traditional seaside attraction and are very proud to have been at the heart of our community since 1871. We might be 150 years old, but we are definitely not stuck in the past!

Although steeped in history, we have a distinctly modern twist having recently invested a multi-million-pound sum in an exciting new indoor development with soft play, adventure golf, and a restaurant – to compliment the very latest thrill rides, amusements, bowling centre, bar and a variety of quality food outlets to attract all ages.

Family-owned by two brothers, Clacton Pier is the largest in Europe at 6.5 acres and won the prestigious Pier of the Year Award in 2020. This is presented by the National Piers Society which highlighted the significant improvements made to up our game over the past decade.

We aim to be the best at what we do; providing family fun and entertainment in a safe environment and our mission is to create happy memories which will last forever. We want our staff to buy into that ethos so that our visitors will want to return again and again – as well as recommend us to others.

Enthusiastic, well-motivated, out-going and lively people are always welcome to join our team with the chance to grow and progress through the company. Often the greatest appeal to our team members is the diversity of the role in this fun, fast paced environment. We offer invaluable experiences for our guests every day, and while this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of what you will do here with us, we cannot guarantee you that creating magical moments won’t come with new and amazing adventures that can make your day different!

Open 364 days a year, we boast both full and part-time jobs where no day is ever the same and where there are no problems – only solutions.
