Zappies Studios is an exciting new creative production studio specialising in digital content, film production, social media and live commerce.

We are building a forward-thinking production team and looking for a talented AI Filmmaker / Generative AI Video Producer to help us push the boundaries of what's possible with artificial intelligence.

Our ambition is to produce high-quality AI-generated films, vertical dramas, short-form entertainment and commercial content that rivals traditional production in storytelling and visual quality.

The Role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled AI Filmmaker who can take an idea or script and turn it into a compelling, professional-quality video using the latest generative AI tools.

You will be responsible for creating cinematic AI-generated content, from initial concept development through to final editing and delivery.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience producing realistic AI characters, maintaining character consistency across scenes and creating engaging narratives.

You should have a strong understanding of filmmaking, cinematography, editing, visual storytelling and AI video generation.

This is a full-time, office-based role at our studios in Littlehampton, West Sussex. The successful candidate will work on-site alongside our creative and production team. This position is not available for remote or hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality AI-generated short films, vertical dramas, commercials and social media content.
• Transform scripts and creative concepts into cinematic AI video productions.
• Use leading AI platforms such as Runway, Kling AI, Google Veo, Sora and other emerging tools.
• Develop and maintain consistent AI-generated characters, environments and visual styles across multiple scenes.
• Create realistic character movements, facial expressions, dialogue and interactions.
• Generate cinematic camera movements, lighting and compositions.
• Edit and assemble AI-generated footage into complete productions.
• Integrate AI-generated dialogue, voiceovers, sound effects and music.
• Collaborate in person with our creative and production teams to develop new concepts.
• Experiment with new AI technologies and production workflows.
• Help establish an efficient AI production pipeline capable of delivering content at scale.
• Produce content optimised for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience creating AI-generated video content.
• Strong working knowledge of generative AI video and image tools.
• Experience with AI prompting, image-to-video and text-to-video generation.
• Ability to maintain consistent characters and visual continuity across multiple scenes.
• Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
• Good understanding of cinematography, lighting, composition and storytelling.
• Ability to produce realistic, high-quality AI-generated footage.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to work full-time from our Littlehampton studio.

Desirable:

• Experience producing AI-generated short films or episodic vertical dramas.
• Knowledge of tools such as ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, ElevenLabs and Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with AI lip-syncing, character animation and dialogue generation.
• Understanding of traditional film production and directing.
• Experience combining live-action footage with AI-generated content.
• Knowledge of visual effects, colour grading and sound design.
• Experience creating content for commercial brands or entertainment platforms.

Important: This is a full-time, office-based position in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Applicants must be able to commute to and work from our studio on a daily basis. Remote and hybrid applications will not be considered.
