EXPERIENCED DOOR HOST / RESTAURANT PROMOTER

Little Italy Restaurant – Leicester Square, London
£40,000–£50,000 OTE | Full-Time & Part-Time

PLEASE APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN RESTAURANT PROMOTING, DOOR HOSTING, STREET PROMOTION OR FACE-TO-FACE SALES.

Little Italy Restaurant, in the heart of Leicester Square, is looking for experienced, confident and commercially driven Door Hosts / Promoters to join our front-of-house team.

This is a results-focused role for someone who already knows how to approach the public, start conversations, overcome objections and convert passing footfall into paying customers.

You will be positioned at the front of the restaurant and will play an important part in driving covers, particularly during busy lunch, theatre, evening and late-night periods.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Actively approaching and engaging passing customers
  • Converting footfall into restaurant and bar customers
  • Confidently presenting our menu, offers and atmosphere
  • Identifying what potential guests are looking for and encouraging them to dine with us
  • Creating an excellent first impression of Little Italy
  • Working closely with management and the restaurant team to maximise covers and sales
  • Maintaining energy, professionalism and enthusiasm throughout your shift

Essential Experience

You must have previous experience in at least one of the following:

  • Restaurant or hospitality street promotion
  • Door hosting / restaurant canvassing
  • Nightclub or bar promotion
  • Direct face-to-face sales
  • High-volume street fundraising or customer acquisition

This is not an entry-level position. Applications without relevant face-to-face sales or promotional experience will not be considered.

  • Proven ability to approach strangers confidently and naturally
  • Strong sales and closing ability
  • Outgoing, charismatic personality
  • Professional and well-groomed appearance
  • Excellent spoken English
  • Additional languages are a strong advantage, particularly in a tourist location
  • Comfortable working outdoors in one of London's busiest pedestrian areas
  • Competitive, target-driven attitude
  • Reliable, punctual and able to maintain high energy during busy shifts
