Full job description
Do you want to work somewhere fulfilling? Where will you learn new skills in a supportive environment? Are you frustrated with how soul-destroying it is to find a job? If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you – and the best part? You don’t need a CV!
We’re an equal opportunities careers community, and we’re proud to be working with an amazing employer.
About the company:
They are one of the biggest pet food companies that believes dogs deserve to eat the healthiest, most natural, and tastiest food with none of the nasties. That's why they make freshly prepared dog food, cooked like you would at home and delivered in perfect portions. As a B Corp-certified company, they're committed to doing right by their people, their product, and the planet.
About the role:
In this role, you'll represent the brand at face-to-face selling opportunities across London. Activations include shopping centres, food festivals, county shows, Christmas markets, exhibitions, dog shows and more.
It's people-focused, and no two days look the same. If you get your energy from people, love being out and about, and do your best work when things are varied and moving, this role was made for you. If you prefer a structured routine and a fixed desk, it probably isn't, and that's okay too.
The best part? Commission is uncapped and top performers are currently hitting £85,000+. You'll be contracted to 16 day shifts a month, which means more time for life outside of work while still building a brilliant, high-earning career.
Salary: £45,000+ per annum Realistic OTE due to uncapped commission.
Location: London (Out and about)
Contract: Fixed-term contract up until December 2026, 16-day shifts per month including weekend work
Start date: ASAP (allowing for notice periods)
Deadline: 30th June
Please note there is no visa sponsorship available for this role. You will also need a valid clean UK driving licence and access to your own car to travel to different events.
Key responsibilities:
- Represent the brand at events. You'll be out at food festivals, dog shows, Christmas markets, and shopping centres, acting as the face of the brand in your region. The majority of locations will be within 90 minutes of Manchester. For any travel outside of 1 hour, mileage will be paid. 2 hours or more, accommodation will be provided.
- Start conversations and close sales. You'll approach potential customers, pitch the product, and guide them from curious to converted.
- Set up and break down the stand. You'll take ownership of your selling space and make sure it looks the part.
- Build your knowledge of the product. So you can answer questions confidently and make the case for why they are different.
- Hit and exceed targets. Commission is uncapped, so the more energy you bring, the more you earn.
Who would love this job:
- You can talk to anyone. Starting a conversation with a stranger comes naturally, and you genuinely enjoy it.
- You're motivated by results. You like knowing what you're working towards, and you keep a close eye on your numbers.
- You'd rather be on your feet and out in the world than sitting at the same desk every day. A packed Christmas market or a bustling dog show is where you do your best work.
- You take pride in doing things well, whether that's how you pitch, how you handle a tricky question, or how you set up your stand before the day starts.
- Variety suits you. A different location, a different event, and a different crowd each week is something you enjoy rather than something you find unsettling.
- And most importantly, you love dogs!
Success in this role looks like:
- Hitting your targets week on week and actually caring about your numbers. You know where you are against your goals at any given point, and when you have a good week, you want to understand why so you can repeat it.
- You bring the same energy to every conversation, whether it's 9am or the end of a long day at a busy show.
- You're part of a wider sales team with real support behind you, but out on the ground it's down to you. You take ownership of your region, your results, and how you show up each day.
Pollen-approved requirements:
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available for this role)
- Flexibility to travel and work across different locations
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car
