Information Tech Consultants Ltd (ITC) is looking for a skilled Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Data Science team. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience and hands-on knowledge of backend application development, APIs, and databases.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI and Data Science team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Python, SQL, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML), with a passion for building intelligent solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to work on real-world machine learning projects while learning from experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models for business applications.
  • Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Develop and optimize Python scripts for data processing and model development.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and insights.
  • Evaluate and improve machine learning model performance using appropriate metrics.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to implement AI solutions.
  • Document machine learning workflows, experiments, and technical solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI, ML, and data science technologies and best practices.

Education: Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent bootcamp experience).

Strong mathematics and statistics background.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
