About Us

Are you passionate about wildlife, conservation, and protecting nature? Do you want to make a tangible impact in helping nature recover? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and people-oriented individuals to join our fundraising team. As a Membership Recruiter, you will represent one of the UK's leading Wildlife Trusts at a variety of events, shows, and venues, raising awareness and recruiting members to support vital conservation work across the region.

About the Role

This is a part-time role, working 3 or 4 days per week, including weekends. You will:

  • Engage with the public at pre-booked events, shows, and venues, raising awareness about the Wildlife Trust's mission and conservation work.
  • Inspire and encourage people to become members through regular giving, helping fund essential projects that protect wildlife and restore natural habitats.
  • Work at a variety of locations, ensuring every day brings new experiences and opportunities to connect with supporters.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Trust, helping build long-term support for nature conservation.

Benefits Include

  • The opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to protecting wildlife and inspiring others to take action for nature.
  • Full training and ongoing support from experienced membership recruiters.
  • Competitive basic pay with a generous remuneration package.
  • 18–24 days annual leave per annum (including bank holidays), equivalent to 6 weeks pro rata.
  • A friendly and supportive team culture.
  • Uniform, equipment, and point-of-sale materials provided, including an electronic tablet.
  • Accommodation provided for overnight stays where required, plus a contribution towards travel expenses.

About You

  • You have a genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and the natural environment.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, sales, events, retail, or customer service.
  • You are comfortable working towards targets and deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • You are a confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people face-to-face and building rapport quickly.
  • You are self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently.
  • You enjoy variety and are happy to travel to different locations as required.
  • You are available to work weekends.
  • You hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

This role is ideal for anyone looking for meaningful work that makes a real difference. Whether you're retired, semi-retired, seeking part-time employment, or looking for a rewarding career change, you'll finish each day knowing you've helped support the future of wildlife and wild places.

If you're passionate about nature and want to play a direct role in protecting it, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today.
