We combine advanced wellness therapies with a premium client experience in a calm, beautifully designed environment.

We are looking for a Wellness Assistant to become a core part of our team in Cockermouth.

This is not a spa or beauty therapist role. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves health, movement and wellness, has a strong interest in the human body, and enjoys educating and supporting clients through their wellness journey.

The ideal person may come from a background such as:

  • Personal training
  • Sports therapy or rehabilitation
  • Sports science or exercise physiology
  • Pilates or reformer Pilates
  • Physiotherapy assistant roles
  • Healthcare or allied health professions
  • Health coaching or wellness coaching
  • Anatomy and physiology based education
  • Movement based practices such as yoga or mobility coaching
  • Clinical, aesthetic or patient facing healthcare environments

You may already have experience supporting people with recovery, movement, rehabilitation, stress management or overall health and wellbeing, or simply have a genuine passion for health optimisation and preventative wellness.

A strong understanding of the human body, anatomy and physiology, recovery and client care would be highly beneficial within this role.

You do not need experience with all of our technologies as full training will be provided, but you must be confident speaking with clients, passionate about wellness and excited to learn.

Your role will include:

  • Delivering wellness consultations and client inductions
  • Supporting clients with personalised wellness plans
  • Running and supervising our core wellness experiences and technologies
  • Supporting clients with health, movement, recovery and wellness focused services
  • Understanding contraindications and client suitability
  • Educating clients on health, wellness, recovery and longevity
  • Supporting our personalised health testing programmes including:
  • DNA testing
  • Blood testing coordination
  • Continuous glucose monitor support
  • Liaising with our Clinical Director regarding client plans and wellness recommendations
  • Delivering a warm, premium and highly professional client experience
  • Helping maintain the presentation and standards of the wellness space

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about health, wellness and preventative care
  • Interested in the science behind health optimisation
  • Warm, personable and confident with clients
  • Professional, organised and proactive
  • Calm and able to work independently
  • Interested in ongoing education and personal development
  • Excited by innovative wellness technologies and modern healthcare approaches

What we offer:

  • The opportunity to work within an exciting new medically led wellness concept
  • Full training on our wellness technologies and protocols
  • Ongoing education and development
  • A beautiful premium working environment
  • The opportunity to grow with a long term wellness brand from the beginning
  • Staff discounts and bonuses

Hours and salary dependent on experience.

To apply, please complete the application process including a short cover letter about yourself and why this role interests you.

Pay: From £24,420.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Additional leave
  • Employee discount
  • Free fitness classes
  • Store discount
