Role 1: Event Staff

The Role and Responsibilities

Event Staff are a key part of our events, they ensure all of our guests have an unforgettable experience.

You will be working with an experienced member of the team to make sure the event is delivered to our clients expectations. As well as having great interactions with guests during the event, you will be supporting the Event
Supervisor to set up, run and break down all equipment.

This is a customer-facing role, and you will need to be sociable, friendly, hands-on and positive. The work is on an event-by-event basis and the dates, times and locations (usually London but also all over the UK) will vary.

If you have previous experience working within events and hospitality then you should definitely get in touch, but don’t worry if not as full training (paid) is provided.

Alongside the Event Supervisor, your role will be to:

1. Load in all equipment into the venue (everything is on wheels)
2. Setup and prepare all inventions ready for service
3. Engage and interact with guests, encouraging them to try our array of products
4. This job would not be complete without some creativity, so you may find yourself twizzling candy floss, making liquid nitrogen ice cream, dispensing alcoholic brain freeze or spritzing guests will delicious edible fragrance

5. Pack down the inventions and equipment at the end of the event and load back into our van

This role will suit you if you are:

  • Personable, social and love talking to people
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Punctual and have good timekeeping
  • Reliable
  • Happy to wheel and push equipment

Role 2: Event Supervisor

Our Event Supervisor role could be great for you! This role comes with more hours and increased pay opportunities.

This is an independent role and you will be required to do some solo work, but don’t worry you will have been out on events with us prior to this and received training.

Your role includes all of the above plus:

1. You will need to make your way to our office in Oxfordshire (OX44 7RW)
2. Please check the location of our office as public transport is limited
3. We will provide a hire van for you to transport the equipment to and from the event
4. Setup and prepare all inventions ready for service
5. Oversee other members of the team
6. Ensure that all aspects of the event run smoothly
7. Maintain Lick Me I’m Delicious’ reputation and 5-star service

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident with driving and driving vans

This is a client facing role in a high-end environment. You will need to be professional, proactive and comfortable in pressurised situations. We work in prestigious venue and with global brands, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at VIP and high-profile events.
