Do you want to help protect millions of customers—and the integrity of the financial system? Join JPMorganChase as a Fraud Advisor and turn sharp judgment into real-world impact.

As a Fraud Advisor in our First Party Fraud team (UK), you'll use your operational and investigative expertise to detect and prevent fraud—protecting customers, reducing losses, and helping deliver secure, trusted banking experiences. You'll investigate suspected fraud, manage risk, and work closely with partners and stakeholders to drive timely, effective outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Screen onboarding applications across multiple products to mitigate risk and potential first party fraud.
  • Monitor customer accounts and complete periodic reviews to identify suspicious activity.
  • Liaise with other banks and financial institutions to highlight emerging risks and help prevent fraud.
  • Investigate payment activity to identify fraud and financial crime, and take action to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with wider fraud operations teams to support colleagues and customers, sharing clear findings and recommendations with key stakeholders.
  • Stay current on fraud and scam trends, applying insights to strengthen detection and prevention.
  • Own your caseload, prioritising effectively to deliver timely resolution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies, maintaining accurate documentation throughout.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in customer operations within a bank, focused on the United Kingdom.
  • Experience in complex investigations, with strong analytical thinking.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and consistently high operational standards.
  • Ability to work independently and partner effectively with key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrable understanding of banking regulations, with a fraud focus.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience collaborating with industry partners to prevent fraud.
  • Knowledge of current fraud and scam trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Experience in financial crime investigations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

What we offer

  • Flexible working hours: 35 hours per week over 4 days or 5 days, with a blend of office and home working.
  • Shift variety: A range of shift patterns between 8am and 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
