Food Delivery Van Driver – Ad Hoc

Location: Omagh
Pay Rate: £13.77 per hour
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Temporary
Shifts: Various shifts depending on business requirements

Job Overview

GenTech Recruitment is currently recruiting Food Delivery Van Drivers for ad hoc work based in Omagh.

This role would suit experienced and reliable van drivers looking for flexible additional work. You will be responsible for delivering food products safely and efficiently to customers across an allocated route.

The Role

  • Carry out deliveries of food products to customers.
  • Load and check the van before leaving the depot.
  • Complete deliveries accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
  • Ensure products are handled carefully and delivered in good condition.
  • Complete relevant delivery paperwork where required.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
  • Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Follow company Health & Safety and food-handling procedures.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred.
  • Multi-drop delivery experience advantageous.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and loading/unloading products.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work ad hoc shifts as required.
