Full job description

Join Our Growing Team as an Operations Administrator!

Location: Lasham, Hampshire
Type: Full-time | Permanent
Salary: Upto £25,400 - 37.5 hour contract Monday - Friday. 8.30 am - 5pm

Are you the organised, proactive problem-solver everyone turns to when things need sorting?
Do you love variety in your day, enjoy working with people, and get a kick out of making operations run like clockwork? If yes, we want to hear from you.

We're a fast-paced, ambitious company providing essential equipment and services to some of the UK’s most significant construction projects and most exciting outdoor events. From contractors to festivals, our customers rely on us to deliver — and that’s where you come in.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Operations Administrator, you’ll be the glue that holds the depot together, ensuring everything is tracked, planned, and running smoothly. You’ll support the operations and transport teams, be a friendly voice for our customers, and spot issues before they become problems.

A typical day might include:

✅ Responding to customer queries and solving issues quickly and professionally
✅ Keeping tabs on deliveries and collections, following up on any aborted jobs
✅ Monitoring unconfirmed off-hires and making sure systems and billing are up to date
✅ Logging customer recharges (e.g., damage, cleaning, failed collections), ensuring accuracy and transparency
✅ Raising and processing workshop job sheets for repairs, cleaning, and inspections
✅ Supporting the transport planners with job scheduling and route checks
✅ Chasing up daily vehicle checks and arranging repairs when needed
✅ Carrying out weekly stock checks and raising purchase orders
✅ Inputting team shifts, approving holiday requests, and tracking overtime

What We’re Looking For

We don’t expect you to know everything from day one, we’ll provide full training. What matters most is your attitude and approach.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Confident on the phone and over email
  • Great at juggling tasks and prioritising on the go
  • A natural problem-solver who takes initiative
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Someone who loves working as part of a team but can crack on solo when needed

Previous experience in operations, transport, logistics or admin is a bonus, but not essential.

Why Work With Us?

We’re not your average company. We're growing quickly and pushing boundaries in what we do. We reward ideas, celebrate wins, and offer genuine opportunities to grow.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • 28 days holiday (incl. Bank Holidays), with extra days for long service
  • Extra Birthday Holiday
  • Free parking at our Lasham depot
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ongoing training and career development
  • Clear progression path within a growing business
  • A team that’s supportive, energetic, and fun to work with.

Ready to Apply?

If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same, where you’ll be valued for your input, and where you can grow with the business — then this is it.
