Full job description

To lead and deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for A Level Photography, ensuring outstanding student progress, achievement and progression. To contribute more widely to the department via delivery on other Creative courses, such as L3 UAL Art & Design and UAL Fashion Business, where the units require photographic skill and expertise. To act as a personal tutor to a group of students, delivering group tutorials on important topics such equality diversity and inclusion and completing 1:1s with students to review their individual progress. To deliver evening classes to adults, leading programmes such as ‘An introduction to Photography for beginners’.

The post-holder will be motivated and enthusiastic and a strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners by maximising their potential to make positive progress towards timely success. The ideal candidate will have strong vocational experience and a good understanding of the creative sector, recent industry developments and relevant employment and progression opportunities. You will be expected to co-ordinate a highly effective teaching, learning and assessment experience across both years of A Level Photography, act as a personal tutor and contribute to the wider College enrichment programme, alongside adhering to the college’s rigorous quality monitoring measures.
