Vital family dental care is a friendly, family run dental practice, we mainly do NHS treatment but also offer private treatment as well.

We are looking to welcome a part time dental receptionist into our practice with weekly hours ranging from 2-3 days a week Monday - Friday only. Working times are 8:30 - 5:30 with a one hour lunch break from 12:30 - 1:30. The Applicant must have history of dental or medical background and experience .

You will play an active role in the smooth and efficient running of the practice forming a vital part of the patient journey.

You should be motivated, organised and a good communicator. You should have proven front of house reception experience, ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, although this is not essential as necessary training will be provided.

You will need to be punctual and reliable, have a good telephone manner and have exceptional customer service skills.

your main tasks will be:

  • booking appointments, on the telephone and face to face
  • taking payments
  • liaising with the laboratories, ensuring work is delivered and returned on time.
  • assisting in all inquiries
  • assistance in stock control
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Maintaining and updating patient records

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24.0 per week
