Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our GP Surgery team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive healthcare environment, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with previous office or administrative experience who are organised, approachable, and able to handle a busy front desk.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner
  • Answer phone calls promptly and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required
  • Handle incoming correspondence and correspondence distribution
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy, professional, and welcoming
  • Support the clinical team with basic administrative duties as needed

Skills
