Full job description

Background

Wooton Pharmacy is an independently owned community pharmacy located on a busy high street in Portobello, Edinburgh. We are looking for a qualified pharmacy dispenser to join our friendly and experienced team. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to directly impact the community by interacting and serving the needs of the customers.

Location

The role is based in store at 168 Portobello High Street. Portobello is a vibrant and picturesque setting with great community spirit. The high street has many cafes and shops next to the beach making it a popular area for both leisure and work.

Job description

The role will include participation in all dispensary activities, including but not limited to;

  • Labelling of prescriptions
  • Dispensing
  • Stock ordering and control
  • Dosette box assembly
  • Other local and national services
  • Liasing with wider healthcare professional network, including local GP surgeries

Days and hours

We are currently looking for 32 hours a week, 09:00 - 17:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Job requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualified, or higher
  • Experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service

Rate of Pay

  • Based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
