Full job description

As a Multi Activity Coach, you will work with a group of children (aged between 5 and 11 years), leading and delivering of a range of timetabled fun physical, games and activities, from exercise / energiser sessions to leading team building games. You will be delivering a high energy, fun and inclusive programme, inspiring young people to be active and contributing to their wider wellbeing.

You will be delivering an inclusive structured programme that engages all children, raising activity engagement levels and increasing the benefits that physical activity has on their development.

Location: South Barnsley area (Hoyland & Surrounding communities)

Hours: Between 9:30am and 2:00pm Monday to Friday in the school holidays

· Experience of working with 4-11 year olds in a sports coaching, education or activity setting

· Studying towards or already completed a higher qualification / degree in childcare, youth work, primary/secondary teaching, sports coaching or PE qualification.

· A passion for physical activity and developing children

· Leadership and organisational skills

· Vibrant, fun, confident personality

· Commitment to high quality customer service to parents and children

· Team player with a willingness to adapt

Job Type: Part-time
Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: £11.00-£15.00 per hour

Education:

  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

  • teaching: 2 years (preferred)
  • Education & Instruction Occupations: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS (preferred)

Work Location: In person
