About the Role: 

As a Grounds Person, you will work on a full-time shift basis, primarily based at Ystrad Mynach Campus. The role is focused on maintaining the College's grounds and outdoor spaces, including the safe operation of grass-cutting machinery and associated grounds maintenance equipment, ensuring the campus remains safe, attractive and well-presented throughout the year.

Alongside seasonal grounds maintenance duties, you will support the wider Estates & Facilities team by undertaking a range of Estates responsibilities as required, helping to maintain safe, secure and compliant learning environments across the College. The role includes key-holding responsibilities and participation in an out-of-hours rota for intruder and fire alarm call-outs.

Whilst predominantly based at Ystrad Mynach Campus, occasional travel to other College sites may be required to support operational needs, planned maintenance activities and reactive works.
