Job Advertisement: Estate Grounds & Maintenance Person

Location: Sutton upon Tern, TF9

Position: Part-Time Estate Grounds & Maintenance Person

Hours: Approximately 80+ hours per month (hours by agreement)

Are you a hard-working individual with a passion for historic landscapes? We are looking for a dedicated Estate Grounds & Maintenance Person to support our young family, providing essential support while we balance full-time work and schooling commitments. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the re-instatement and upkeep of a historic landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the estate grounds, ensuring a tidy and safe outdoor space.

- Perform driving duties for various estate-related tasks.

- Assist with conservation efforts to preserve the historic landscape.

- Uphold confidentiality and respect for the family's private life.

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong work ethic and practical skills.

- Conscientious and reliable with a keen attention to detail.

- Interest in conservation and landscape management.

- Holds relevant qualifications, such as:

- First Aid certification

- Spraying licenses

- Chainsaw training

- Gun license

Requirements:

- Minimum experience in prior employment or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.

- Living within a 30-minute commute of Sutton upon Tern (TF9) is essential.
