Hours: 37 hours a week – working seasonal hours

Derby City Council Streetpride Service have vacancies for Full Time Semi-skilled Gardeners (Gardener 2) to carry out basic gardening and general grounds maintenance duties.
The role provides a grounds maintenance service on all Derby City Council land, properties and contracts as determined by the service.
As a minimum, applicants must;
  • possess a full manual driving licence
  • having a basic occupational experience of grounds maintenance works including the use of professional equipment such as hedge cutters, mowers, strimmers etc.
We require our Gardeners 2 to be reliable, have pride in their work and be committed to work with colleagues to produce a good standard of work. They must understand the need for exceptional customer satisfaction. Be prepared to undertake any training required and work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations. The work may involve early morning starts at different locations throughout the City of Derby. You may be expected to work seasonal hours throughout the year
