About Oasis Plants Ltd: Oasis Plants Ltd is a leading provider of live plant displays for office spaces, hotels, car showrooms, and public areas across the North West. We pride ourselves on delivering stunning, high-quality plant displays and providing exceptional care and maintenance to our clients. We are looking for a dedicated Plant Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team and help us maintain these beautiful displays in the North West of England.

Role Overview: As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and care of live plant displays at various client sites, including offices, hotels, car showrooms, and other public spaces. You will travel between these locations to ensure plants are healthy and well-maintained. A general knowledge of house plants is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the specific care of the displays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and care for live plant displays at various client locations.
  • Ensure that plants are healthy and well-kept, addressing any issues such as pest control, watering, and pruning.
  • Travel to different sites around the North West area to carry out maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Ensure that plants are well presented and meet the company’s high standards.
  • Keep accurate records of plant care and maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements:

  • A general knowledge of house plants is beneficial but not essential.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is required for this position.
  • Ability to travel between different client sites using a company-provided van.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying plant displays.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in plant maintenance or a horticultural role is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of plant care and maintenance techniques.
