Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and a commitment to maintaining beautiful and healthy gardens. This role involves various gardening tasks, including landscape maintenance, irrigation, and groundskeeping, ensuring that all outdoor areas are well-kept and thriving.

Responsibilities

  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure gardens are aesthetically pleasing.
  • Irrigate plants and lawns effectively, adjusting systems as necessary to promote healthy growth.
  • Assist in the growing of plants, flowers, and vegetables by preparing soil, planting seeds, and nurturing them throughout their development.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various gardening tasks.
  • Maintain groundskeeping duties including clearing debris, maintaining pathways, and ensuring overall cleanliness of outdoor areas.
  • Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases, taking appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan garden layouts and seasonal planting schedules.

Skills

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to gardening tasks.
  • Knowledgeable in landscape maintenance techniques and best practices for plant care.
  • Must have driving license
  • Strong understanding of growing techniques for various plants, flowers, and vegetables.
