Job Overview

Help keep gardens and outdoor spaces healthy, tidy and welcoming. You’ll carry out practical garden maintenance, supporting the upkeep of plants, lawns and landscaped areas. This is for a Nursing Home.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain gardens and grounds, including weeding, pruning and general tidying.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely for routine maintenance.
  • Support planting and plant care, applying sound gardening and horticulture practices.
  • Keep tools and work areas clean and orderly.

Experience

  • Practical gardening, groundskeeping or landscape maintenance experience is essential.
  • Growing experience and knowledge of plant care are welcome.
  • Confidence using hand tools is helpful; experience with power tools and irrigation is an advantage.
  • A careful, reliable approach and willingness to work outdoors are important.

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 per week
