Are you an experienced and skilled gardener with a passion for leading and managing a team? Do you have extensive experience in residential or commercial gardening and grounds maintenance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Evergreen Gardens and Design, a reputable landscaping company based in the Idle, Bradford, are seeking an exceptional Gardening Team Leader to oversee and manage a team of two talented gardeners. As the Gardening Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Your strong leadership skills, passion for gardening, and ability to motivate and inspire a team will be paramount in this role.

What We're Looking For:

· Previous experience leading a gardening team in a residential or commercial capacity.

· Extensive knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care.

· Competence in general gardening machinery, including lawnmowers, hedge cutters, and strimmer’s.

· Good level of physical fitness and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

· Fantastic people skills, excellent time management, and conflict resolution abilities.

· A commitment to maintaining and growing our reputable standing in the industry.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise the gardening team in executing their daily tasks.

· Plan and allocate work schedules and assignments to team members.

· Ensure that all gardening activities, such as planting, weeding, trimming, and lawn maintenance, are carried out effectively and according to established standards.

· Monitor project progress and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

· Train new team members on gardening techniques and safety procedures.

· Maintain and update gardening equipment and tools.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of gardening projects.

· Oversee the maintenance of garden areas, including irrigation systems and pest control.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Carry out a range of gardening tasks, including planting, pruning, weeding, and lawn maintenance.

· Operate and maintain various gardening machinery, such as walk-behind and ride-on lawnmowers, hedge cutters, and strimmers.

· Ensure the health and vitality of plants, trees, and shrubs by providing proper care and maintenance.

· Identify and address pest and disease issues, implementing appropriate control measures.

· Proven experience as a Gardening Team Leader or similar role.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Valid driver's license.
