Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and have experience in growing various plants and maintaining gardens. This role involves working with both hand tools and power tools to ensure the upkeep of our grounds, contributing to a beautiful and thriving outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure the aesthetic appeal of the gardens.
  • Grow and nurture a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs, ensuring they are healthy and well-maintained.
  • Irrigate gardens effectively, monitoring soil moisture levels and adjusting watering schedules as necessary.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new garden layouts or improvements to existing landscapes.
  • Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various gardening tasks, including hedge trimming and lawn care.
  • Utilise hand tools for planting, pruning, and general garden maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify any issues or areas needing attention.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of gardening equipment and storage areas.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred.
  • Knowledge of plant care, including growing techniques and pest management.
  • Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate both power tools and hand tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
