Horticulture Lecturer (part-time hourly paid)

Shipley College - Great people, great place!

Hours: Variable

Salary: £20.90 per hour (£26.51 per hour including holiday pay)

Closing Date: Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 9am

Interview Date: TBC

Start Date: ASAP (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks)

An exciting opportunity for a Horticulture Lecturer to work with our students to improve their effectiveness, deliver teaching, learning and assessment and contribute to the delivery and promotion of the Level 1, 2 & 3 Horticulture qualifications & Level 2 Apprenticeships. The successful candidate must possess the necessary qualifications, skills, and/or experience to deliver teaching, learning, and assessment.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A relevant degree/qualification or significant work experience
  • Level 2 (equivalent) Qualification in Maths and English Language
  • Relevant successful teaching experience and have significant industry experience in relevant vocational area
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
