Overview:
Garden Elements Ltd is a growing business looking to expand our specialised garden services to more businesses and residential customers in and around the Grantham area. We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gardener to join our team in maintaining and enhancing the green spaces of our clients to the highest of standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for using a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the gardens are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing. They also must be incredibly fit as this job is physically active and demanding.

Duties:

• Perform maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, mowing and strimming
• Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and correctly
• Plant, water, and prune flowers, shrubs, and small trees
• Conduct grounds keeping duties to keep outdoor areas tidy
• Collaborate with clients to understand their garden preferences and requirements and offer eco-friendly solutions

Qualifications:

• RHS Level 2 qualification or equivalent preferable
• Proven experience in garden maintenance of minimum of 2 years
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively
• Knowledge of plants and their specific care needs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
• Happy and confident talking with customers and offering advice

Extra Information

• We are on site Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00, Fridays 08:00 - 15:00 (30 minute break per day)
• 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays increasing to 25 days after 5 years service.
• Uniform is provided including fixed amount towards safety boots per year.
• Work van available for use or if you prefer you can save time and take your own car to site.
