Full job description

Direct Response Employment Services are seeking Operatives to join our clients team in Codford, Wiltshire on a permanent basis, you will be join a fantastic team within a unique, thriving and growing industry.

Role Overview

  • The role will join our existing team of Operatives and is pivotal to our operation.
  • Daily duties include pruning and deleafing the crop, harvesting, and taking cuttings.
  • The work takes place indoors and comfortable footwear and laundered uniform are provided by the company.
  • This is a manual role in which you will be active and on your feet most of the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pruning and deleafing the crop (removing leaves and branches)
  • Spacing of the crop and disposing of excess plants
  • Taking and planting cuttings
  • Cleaning of equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
  • Observing high standards of health and safety.

We are ideally looking for someone who has horticultural or previous manufacturing experience.

We are looking for candidates who have an enhanced DBS or willing to have one taken out following commencement of work.

This is a permanent role working 40 hours a week and an hourly pay of £13.46 per hour (£27,997 per annum)
