Job Overview

Support the smooth running of the home department by helping customers find suitable products and keeping displays organised. You’ll contribute to a welcoming shopping experience through clear communication and attentive service.

Duties

  • Assist customers with product enquiries, using strong communication skills and clear English.
  • Maintain attractive displays and support merchandising, stock presentation and department organisation.
  • Use basic maths when checking prices, quantities or transactions.
  • Manage tasks effectively, applying time management and organisational skills during busy periods.
  • Helping to get stock out.

Experience

  • Customer service or retail experience is useful but not essential.
  • Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills are valued.
  • English proficiency is required; bilingual or multilingual ability, particularly Spanish, is an advantage.
  • Confidence with basic maths, merchandising and customer-focused upselling is welcome.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
