Full job description

Maintenance Person / Handyman 16hrs per week 2 days 8am-4pm

We are a friendly and supportive care home group seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person / Handyman to help maintain our residential care homes. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks, working independently, and making a visible difference each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general building and grounds maintenance
  • Complete light repairs and routine upkeep
  • Carry out painting and decorating work
  • Identify and report any larger repair issues
  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out to a high standard, supporting a safe and welcoming environment for residents

Requirements:

  • Good general repair and maintenance skills
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Competent with basic hand tools and minor repairs
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
