Your role

Complete final quality checks on aseptically prepared medicines, following approved procedures.
Carry out in-process checks in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Confirm products have been manufactured, documented and stored to the correct quality standards.
Reconcile the raw materials and ingredients used in compounded products.
Build your understanding of the automated equipment used throughout manufacture.
Check and release finished products across our manufacturing departments.
Work closely with QA Releasers and Production Pharmacists to ensure every product meets the customer order and is ready for release.

What you'll bring

A bachelor's degree, ideally in a science-related subject.
A genuine interest in science, quality and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail and the concentration to get things right every time.
Good hand-eye coordination.
The confidence to follow detailed procedures and learn technical processes.
Excellent written and spoken English.

New to pharmaceutical manufacturing? That's absolutely fine. Our comprehensive, structured training programme will give you the knowledge and confidence to work across our Chemotherapy, CIVAS and Parenteral Nutrition clean-room manufacturing units.

Hours that support your work-life balance

You will start on a fixed 10:00am-6.30pm shift, Monday to Friday-with no rotating shifts and no regular weekend working. Our site operates between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, and there are six Saturdays each year for cleaning and additional production. Once you complete training, you may have the opportunity to move to a four-day working week. Occasional minimal overtime may be needed to complete vital patient orders, but when your shift ends, there is no work to take home.

Your salary, progression and benefits

Start on £30,073 a year and rise to £37,073 when you complete the structured training programme. From there, you will have further opportunities to build your skills and progress across ITH Pharma.
