Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Management Graduate to join the security industry, bringing fresh ideas and a proactive approach to our team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain hands-on management experience, and contribute to the safety and security of our operations. You will support various management functions, oversee team activities, and help implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and security protocols. If you are passionate about leadership, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you!

Duties

  • Assist in coordinating daily security operations and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Support supervisory staff in overseeing team members and managing workflow
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security procedures and management strategies ISO 9001 and also the SIA's Approved Contractor Scheme
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance leadership skills and industry knowledge
  • Help monitor security systems, conduct audits, and report on operational performance
  • Engage with team members to foster a positive work environment and promote safety awareness
  • Assist in managing administrative tasks such as record keeping, incident reporting, and documentation

Experience

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Business Management or related field
  • Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience, preferably in a security or operational setting
  • Strong management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, organize tasks efficiently, and solve problems proactively
  • Experience with security procedures or industry-specific regulations is a plus but not required
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

D & D Security (Midlands) Limited has been in business since 2008, we are currently located in Ilkeston however we are moving to new offices on Park Park, Derby DE24 and this will be our permanent base.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
