Role - Backend Developer (DevSecOps Engineer)

I’m Oscar, the CEO & founder of DFYNE, I’m looking for someone who’s going to help make sure all our systems work flawlessly for our teams, as well as our customers.
You would be responsible for making the secure path the default path across DFYNE's engineering org. You’ll be helping us to build and develop strong effective and efficient systems, in turn, helping the whole Digital team in being more accurate and efficient as we scale.
We want someone who’s never satisfied with “good enough” and is always looking to push the boundaries of what we think is possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Owns CI/CD pipelines and the automated security gates that govern every deploy

Implements dependency scanning, secrets detection, IaC scanning, container scanning block-by-default, exception via Head of Security

Translates security policy into enforced automation; partners closely with Cyber Security
-
Stack: Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Gitleaks, Secret Manager, container/image scanning
Experience Needed:
A background in Backend Development is desirable.
