Full job description

Self-Employed Personal Trainer

We’re recruiting professional, friendly and driven Personal Trainers who want to build and grow their own PT business within Club Gym.

This is a self-employed role operating under a Personal Trainer Licence Agreement, combining the opportunity to develop your own client base with structured business support from Club Gym.

The Model

Successful applicants will begin with our 12-Week PT Business Framework.

During this period, you’ll work through a structured programme of weekly tasks designed to help you build, develop and grow your Personal Training business. The programme is overseen by the Club Manager, providing ongoing support and mentorship throughout the 12 weeks.

As part of the initial licence arrangement, you’ll contribute up to 10 hours per week to the club. This may include:

  • Gym-floor and member engagement
  • Gym inductions and classes
  • General operational duties and cleanliness
  • Occasional shift and holiday cover

Alongside this, you’ll be able to build and run your own Personal Training business within Club Gym and retain 100% of your PT revenue.

After the 12 Weeks

Once you complete the Business Framework, you’ll have two options:

Club Contribution Licence

Continue contributing up to 10 hours per week to the gym with no monthly licence fee.

Rental Licence

Pay £500 per month with no regular club-shift requirement.

Under either option, you continue to operate your own self-employed PT business and retain 100% of your Personal Training revenue.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Personal Training qualification
  • Professional, reliable and member-focused
  • Ambitious and motivated to grow your own client base
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Confident delivering 1-to-1 PT and group classes

Experience is preferred, but newly qualified PTs with the right attitude and work ethic are encouraged to apply.
