THIS IS AD HOC WORK WEEKLY TO Support an HR Consultant.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable HR Consultant Support professional to provide ad hoc generalist HR support to a Senior HR Consultant.

This role is for an HR faith-led consultancy. We pray during some meetings, and applicants must be comfortable working in a Christian environment and participating respectfully. As many of the organisations we support are Christian, meetings may include prophetic prayer. You should therefore be comfortable hearing God’s voice, or willing to learn and grow in this area.

This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible, ad hoc HR work alongside other professional or personal commitments. Applicants must already have HR experience, and ongoing support and guidance will be provided by the Senior HR Consultant.

One client is based in Devon and so on site in Devon is required.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HR Consultant to join our dynamic human resources team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting organisational HR initiatives, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The HR Consultant will be responsible for delivering expert advice, maintaining HRIS systems, and facilitating effective communication across departments.

Duties

• Manage and update HR information systems and ATS platforms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide guidance on human resources policies, procedures, and best practices to managers and staff.
• Assist with data entry, record keeping, and reporting related to employee information and HR metrics.
• Support recruitment processes by managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and coordinating interviews.
• Utilise Salesforce and social media management tools to promote employer branding and talent acquisition campaigns.
• Facilitate communication between departments regarding HR initiatives, policy updates, and employee engagement activities.
• Organise training sessions or workshops related to HRIS systems or administrative procedures.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies through regular audits and reviews.
• Contribute to the development of HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of human resources principles, employment law, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience with data entry, record management, and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or social media management platforms is advantageous.
• Prior experience working with ATS systems or similar is desirable.
• Organised with exceptional attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: £30.00-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 5.0 per week
