Location: Community based – South Hams | Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Salcombe, Chillington, Ringmore and Surrounding Areas

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant, you will visit clients in their own homes across the local community and support them with everyday tasks. Visits may range from short support calls to longer visits depending on the person’s needs.

Your role may include:

Providing companionship and emotional support
Helping with meals, hydration and nutrition
Supporting with personal care
Assisting with shopping or collecting prescriptions
Helping people remain independent in their own homes

Some visits are practical, while others are simply about spending time with someone who needs company. Every visit matters.

Training and Support

Full training is provided.

When you join us you will:

Complete the nationally recognised Care Certificate
Receive practical training and shadow experienced carers

Pay and Benefits

£13.50 – £16.00 per hour
Double pay on Bank Holidays
5.6 weeks paid holiday per year
