Salary: £48000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week 7am – 3.30pm / 8am – 4.30pm with Deputy Manager, evening events overtime or time in lieu

About the role:

An exciting opportunity to lead the catering and hospitality operation at Booking.com’s prestigious Manchester city-centre workplace. This is a high-profile, Monday-to-Friday role for an experienced General Manager who enjoys creating an outstanding food and service experience in a fast-paced, premium environment.

You’ll lead a team of 18, overseeing a busy restaurant serving breakfast and lunch free issue, alongside an espresso bar and hospitality service. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring energy, creativity and exceptional standards to a vibrant workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of 18, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy workplace restaurant, delivering breakfast and lunch on a free-issue basis.
• Manage the espresso bar and hospitality service, ensuring consistently high standards across all areas.
• Bring fresh ideas and creativity to the food and service offer, keeping it engaging and relevant for customers.
• Maintain excellent standards across food quality, presentation, service and customer experience.
• Build a strong relationship with the client, understanding their expectations and ensuring the operation delivers against them.
• Manage budgets, stock, cost control and overall site performance.
• Ensure the site operates to the highest standards of food safety, health & safety and compliance.
• Support, coach and develop the team, encouraging great service and progression.
• Take full ownership of the operation, bringing energy, personality and attention to detail to this vibrant workplace environment.

• Proven experience managing a large, high-volume catering operation
• A strong background in premium food, hospitality and service standards
• An inspiring, hands-on leader who can motivate and develop a sizeable team
• An excellent communicator with a confident and professional approach
• A real passion for delivering memorable customer experiences
