About Us

Holiday Inn Gatwick Worth is a prestigious 4-star AA-accredited hotel located in Crawley. Following a £9 million refurbishment and extension, the hotel now features 158 contemporary bedrooms, five versatile event spaces accommodating up to 350 delegates, and our stylish restaurant, Meadow – Kitchen | Bar | Terrace.

We are seeking a passionate, organised, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sales & Events Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career within the hospitality and events industry, supporting the growth of our conference, events, and wedding business.

About the Role

As a Sales & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in maximising revenue opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service. You will manage enquiries from initial contact through to event completion, ensuring every client receives a professional and memorable experience.

No previous hospitality experience is required, although experience in sales would be advantageous. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

· Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries via telephone and email.

· Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings by promoting the hotel's facilities and services.

· Manage events from enquiry through to confirmation, ensuring all event documentation is completed accurately.

· Liaise closely with operational departments to ensure seamless event delivery.

· Proactively follow up provisional bookings and maintain strong relationships with clients.

· Conduct sales calls to introduce and promote the hotel's products and services.

· Support wedding couples throughout the planning process and coordinate their special day at the hotel.

· Represent the hotel at wedding fairs and promotional events.

· Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling and cross-selling.

· Proactively seek new business opportunities and arrange hotel show rounds.

· Research local competitors and market trends.

· Host and coordinate a variety of events, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction.

· Assist with marketing activities, including social media content and guest review management when required.

About You

Essential Requirements

· Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

· Aged 18 years or over.

· Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
