Johnsons Hotel, Restaurant & Catering Linen is a market leader in linen hire and provider of laundry service to the hospitality industry. We are totally committed to continued growth and development and enjoy a high-profile national image in the textile industry.

We are looking for a Transport Team Leader to join our busy Transport team. Working closely with the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the logistics operation for the Drivers in line with Company standards and legal requirements.

Summary of key tasks:

  • Supporting the Transport Manager in ensuring 100% delivery and collection target is met for the Department.
  • Assisting the Transport Manager in maintaining the vehicles to meet legislative requirements.
  • Liaising with Customer Service departments to meet customer requests and requirements.
  • Effectively deputise for the Transport Manager when necessary.

Applicants will need:

  • CPC qualified would be advantageous
  • The ability to make decisions based on business knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be organised and able to cope within a busy office environment.
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Teamwork orientated

48 hours a week – Monday to Friday

Class 2 licence preferable.

£43,680.

Pay: £43,680.00 per year
