About The Role
Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a Housekeeper to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House.
Kitnocks House is a 63-bedded service providing high quality care across 4 specialised units, each offering high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of our residents. We support people with a range of complex conditions, always focusing on the person behind the diagnosis. It’s a warm, safe and supportive environment - and we’re proud to be rated Good by the CQC.
What hours will you work?
Monday Thursday Saturday Sunday 08.00 to 18.00
10 hour shifts with a total average of 35 hours worked per week.
- Minimum of 1 years experience working in a similar role within the UK (essential)
- A commitment to provide high standards of housekeeping
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home
- You will vacuum, polish and mop floors and ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
- You will receive training to understand health and safety issues and the use of chemicals that we use and any equipment that you need to use
- Checking equipment is stocked, clean and ready for the next day
- Although you will not be delivering direct care to our residents, you will have a responsibility to ensure our residents are kept happy while cleaning

About Us
Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 3 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, & Mytchett with 2 new services set to open in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
